LAMP Teams Head North
Please keep our LAMP (Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots) volunteers in prayer as final preparations are made prior to the teams’ departures to Manitoba. The Shamattawa team will leave on July 18th and the Norway House team will depart on July 20th; commissioning of the team will be held during Divine Service on Sunday, July 14th. March 2019 Update from LAMP Team
God’s mission outreach efforts in Shamattawa continued through four Trinity members who went on another winter trip to see the children and adults in that community. Jessica Krog, Leon Dawkins, Shawn and Dave Schneeberger made the trip along with LAMP Pastor Pilot Dennis Ouellette to spend quality time in the Shamattawa school and community. Shamattawa Team – July 17th
This is an update from the Shamattawa team via a spouse still in the states: The Shamattawa team has been struggling with internet access. They had some storms on Saturday night that took the power out for about 14 hours. However, they have very nice accommodations and place to teach that is inside.
