Rev. Noah J. Rogness
My name is Pastor Noah Rogness and I began serving as the associate pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in the summer of 2016.
I am a Minnesotan, born and raised, hailing from Hopkins. Upon high school graduation, I enlisted in the US Army Reserve. After completing basic training, I began studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) and earned a degree in Community Health Education. While attending school, the Army Reserve mobilized me to serve in various locations throughout the world, including Afghanistan, Honduras, and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. After graduating from UMD I went on active duty status for the Army in the Office of the Chief of Chaplains at the Pentagon.
While on Active Duty at the Pentagon, I met my wife, Becky, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alexandria, VA. We were married in 2010 in Becky’s hometown of Fairmont, MN. Even though I left active duty status in the Army to attend seminary at Concordia Theological Seminary-Fort Wayne, I remained in the Army and am currently assigned to the Pentagon in a reserve capacity.
When I am away from church I spend as much time as I can with my wife and our two beautiful children, Lydia and Samson. Lydia was born in 2014 and Samson was born two years later, in 2016. I love to travel with my family whenever we can. And in my down time I enjoy home brewing and cheering on the Minnesota Twins and Wild!
