It’s a sunny Sunday in Shamattawa. Dave had breakfast ready for us all once again. Around 9:30 we headed out. Dave to the Red Building to get set up. Lori Mckenna and myself to the school, about a mile walk to get on the wi-fi, as it’s our only source of connection to you, our prayer partners and supporters. Shamattawa Team Day 3 Saturday 7-20 (Now in Shamattawa) Dave had pancakes and coffee going for us when we got up. Pancakes and eggs were the daily special at the Shamtown B&B. Dave did a McGiever repair to our front door, as the screen was broken out. Shamattawa Team Day 2 Friday 7-19 As written in Thursday’s journal, I noted we were staying in the basement of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Winnipeg. Dave made breakfast for us as we packed up and got ready to head out. We had a detour to a walk in clinic. Leon had a minor health concern, so wanted to have it checked before heading out for 10 days where a doctor is usually not available.
After a short prayer time at the church in Fergus Falls, we left for Canada, but not before a wonderful send off from family and friends. The trip across our northern border went without a hitch. Just a few questions and we were off to Winnipeg. Shortly after the border at a rest area, we ran into two teams from the St. Louis area heading to Lynn Lake and Brochet. These two teams have been
