Deaconess Kim Bueltmann, our Together In Mission Missionary in Germany
The Bd. of Global Outreach held a Zoom call on May 10 with our T.I.M. missionary, Kim Bueltmann, for an update on her ministry work with refugees from Iran and the church services held in Leipzig (Sundays) and Chemnitz (Saturdays). Church services are held in German, Persian/Farsi, and English. Kim will be busy leading summer camp and kids’ retreats this summer, as well as assisting musically with church services and teaching the German language to Persian refugees. Our board hopes to host Kim next fall when she makes home visits in the U.S.
Prayer Requests from Kim:
*Wisdom and guidance for upcoming vote for new Elders on June 4; that God provides the best people in place for successful church leadership.
*Pray for the new Persian refugees continuing to arrive in Germany, that their hearts open to the prompting of the Holy Spirit as they receive help and attend worship services in their own language. Pray that they come to know God’s Word and remain in it as their faith grows.
*Pray for a class being taught for those interested in being baptized in the faith.
*Pray for the woman who weekly proofreads the Pastor’s sermons and other documents for errors in translation from English to the Farsi language. She is not a Christian, but is beginning to ask questions as the Holy Spirit works in her heart as she reads the Christian sermons/Bible passages.
