1873 Trinity Lutheran Church organized by Pastor R. Winkler
In 1882 Henry Hammaier donated land on Fir and Cleveland.
Trinity Lutheran Church incorporated on July 17.
Nicknamed “The Rooster Church” based on Jesus’ words to Peter and the installation of a rooster weather vane on top of the church.
In 1899 Land purchased at Union and Cavour along with the first parsonage.
The church dismantled and rebuilt on the new site.
1902 The church rededicated on December 13
1915 Lay leaders started teaching day school, prior to that it was taught by the pastor
1919 The June 22 cyclone totally destroyed the church and parsonage at Union and Cavour
1920 The new church basement dedicated on October 10 and served as the church and school for six years
1926 Good Friday, April 2, construction started on completing the church and on Easter Sunday, April 4, the cornerstone laid
Construction completed and the new church dedicated on September 5
1950 Major expansion included fellowship hall, kitchen, schoolrooms and offices
1997 Started construction of Phase I in April The new school and fellowship hall dedicated in December
