A basic chainsaw training event for LERT (Lutheran Emergency Response Team) will be taking place at Lutheran Island Camp on Saturday, April 6. The basic LERT certification must be completed in advance (offered March 23 in Perham) and this training is required for using a chainsaw at future disaster sites. The training is open to the first seven participants from the MN North district on a first come first serve basis. Additional details will be available in the near future.
